Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 28, 2026

FL Services Hub is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our platform usable by the widest possible audience.

β™Ώ Our Commitment

Every Florida resident deserves equal access to find trusted home service professionals β€” regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology used.

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

FL Services Hub, owned and operated by Hawk Guru, is dedicated to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We work to ensure our platform meets or exceeds applicable standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and conforms substantially to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We believe accessibility benefits everyone β€” homeowners searching for service pros, business owners listing their services, and the broader Florida community we serve.

2. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

FL Services Hub is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and address these areas.

3. Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features across our platform:

  • Semantic HTML structure β€” Proper use of headings, landmarks, and ARIA labels for screen readers.
  • Keyboard navigation β€” All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Color contrast β€” Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Alt text on images β€” Meaningful alternative text is provided for informational images.
  • Resizable text β€” Content remains readable and functional when zoomed up to 200%.
  • Responsive design β€” Pages adapt to different screen sizes and orientations.
  • Form labels β€” All form fields include descriptive labels and error messages.
  • Skip navigation β€” Users can bypass repeated content and jump to main page content.
  • Descriptive link text β€” Links are clearly labeled and meaningful out of context.
  • Reduced motion support β€” Respects user preferences for reduced animations.

4. Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology

FL Services Hub is designed to be compatible with the following:

Modern browsers:

  • Google Chrome (latest 2 versions)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest 2 versions)
  • Apple Safari (latest 2 versions)
  • Microsoft Edge (latest 2 versions)

Assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Speech recognition software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
  • Screen magnification software (ZoomText, browser zoom)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Switch devices and alternative input methods

We do not officially support older browsers (Internet Explorer 11 or below) or browsers more than two major versions out of date.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some aspects of our platform may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to address them:

  • User-submitted content β€” Listings, photos, and descriptions submitted by service providers may not always include alt text or descriptive content. We encourage all submitters to include accessible content.
  • Third-party integrations β€” Some embedded tools (maps, payment processors, analytics) may have accessibility limitations beyond our direct control.
  • PDF documents β€” Older PDFs hosted on the platform may not be fully tagged for screen reader access. We are working to remediate these.
  • Video content β€” Where applicable, we are working to add captions and transcripts to all video content.

If you encounter any accessibility barrier on our platform, please contact us using the information below so we can address it promptly.

6. Assessment and Testing

The accessibility of FL Services Hub has been evaluated through the following methods:

  • Self-evaluation β€” Internal review by our team using accessibility checklists.
  • Automated testing β€” Regular scans using tools such as WAVE, axe DevTools, and Lighthouse.
  • Manual testing β€” Keyboard-only navigation testing and screen reader testing.
  • User feedback β€” Reports from users help us identify and fix issues we may have missed.

We review our accessibility practices regularly and make improvements continuously.
